To The Libertine, The Nymphomaniac, The Harlot, The Hedonist, The Sensualist and most of all, to the great god, Pan. Nymphs and Satyrs is an ointment like no other that we at Weavers of Balance have created before. Carefully crafted, and woven with correspondence as well as the desired effect in mind simultaneously. An ointment specially designed for sex magick rituals, with components that play with debauchery as well as sanctity.
We started with combining the classic Mandrake and Henbane. Mandrake possessing a very masculine, wild, jolly and sexual energy while the Henbane possesses a very feminine, contemplative and dark energy. Both were used frequently as extremely potent aphrodisiacs all throughout Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa spanning through history since roughly 8000 BCE.
We then added pure calamus oil, for several reasons. Physically, it's been used to reduce anxiety and pain without causing any sedation. It's said to give a clarity of mind as well as increase libido. Magickally, its been used in domination rites and to stir up feelings of euphoria. It also happens to be quite physically warming to the touch. It's association with Pan is like no other, as it's said that Pans lover, syrinx, was turned into calamus reeds to escape him. Pan then fashioned the reeds together to form the instrument known as the pan pipes.
We then created an extract of Horny Goat Weed and pine pollen. Horny Goat Weed is one of the most effective aphrodisiacs on the market, and has been used historically to treat erectile dysfunction, anaorgasmia and low libido. Pine pollen was added due to Pans most sacred plant being the Pine tree. Pine pollen has been shown to bind to androgen receptors, and while it does not increase testosterone, it is said to emulate the effects of testosterone temporarily.
And finally, we added Nymphaea Caerulea, the plant of the Nymphs. Also known as blue lotus, it has been used as an aphrodisiac, oneirogen, mood booster and entheogen. It's lovely, kind and gentle effects make it prized amongst many.
The texture of this ointment is very smooth, silky and soft. It's warming to the touch and smells remarkable. And we must make the disclaimer, as the plants in here are not FDA approved, that this ointment should not be used internally, and should only be used with awareness in mind.
